San Francisco Government Shuts Down In-N-Out for Not Enforcing Proof of Vaccine
‘We refuse to become the vaccination police’

San Francisco city government temporarily closed an In-N-Out fast food burger restaurant over the company’s refusal to force customers to prove they are vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The City by the Bay requires a vaccine ID to purchase a burger and fries, but no ID to vote. San Francisco allows open meth and heroin purchases and use on city streets, homeless vagrants to poop on the sidewalks, and thieves to rip off Walgreens daily, but if you want a Double-Double and a chocolate shake, you need to prove you’ve been vaccinated.
This is in the city where Mayor London Breed was caught violating her city’s mask mandate, partying and dancing at a San Francisco night club.
Mayor Breed has mandated “the wearing of well-fitted masks for all individuals, including fully vaccinated persons, Proof of full vaccination at restaurants, bars, clubs, theaters, and entertainment venues, gyms, recreation facilities, yoga studios, dance studios, and large indoor events and indoor mega events,” the Globe recently reported.
In-N-Out told the city what they think of the vaccine mandate: “We refuse to become the vaccination police.”
“The San Francisco Department of Public Health closed the Fisherman’s Wharf In-N-Out location on Oct. 14 after the popular burger joint did not check the vaccination status of customers, which violates an August mandate from the city requiring indoor diners to show proof of vaccination,” Fox News/MSN reported.
In-N-Out Burger’s Chief Legal and Business Officer, Arnie Wensinger sent a statement to Fox News:
“Our store properly and clearly posted signage to communicate local vaccination requirements. After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant Associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every Customer, then act as enforcement personnel by barring entry for any Customers without the proper documentation.”
“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” Wensinger declared, slamming the San Francisco Department of Health’s requirements as “unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe” and accusing the city of asking restaurants to “segregate Customers” based on vaccine documentation.
“We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business,” the statement said. “This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.”

Go look at the numbers at covid19.ca.gov. The 7 day average COVID death rate in SF is now only 2 people in 10 million people. I’m willing to bet more people are dying of the common cold than that. How long is this leftist government going to continue this charade?
