Germany suicide watch update:
NEW – Germany has more than 2.3 trillion cubic meters of natural gas stored in shale rock. Enough for more than 20 years.
Environment Minister Olaf Lies (SPD) in Lower Saxony, where 90% of the gas is stored, again categorically ruled out #fracking, dpa reports.

According to BVEG, the German association for natural gas, petroleum and geothermal energy, up to 2.3 trillion cubic meters (610 trillion gallons) of natural gas can be tapped from German shale rock, and 450 billion cubic meters from coal beds through fracking.
