This video shows the design for The Line, a 500-metre-tall, mirror-clad skyscraper that was designed to house nine million people in Saudi Arabia.

The linear city, which will be 170 kilometres long and 200 metres wide, was launched by Saudia Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and is described as “a revolution in civilization.”

It will have a footprint of just 34 square kilometres and house nine million people, who will live in neighbourhoods where all daily needs are accessible within a five-minute walk.
