Twitter boss Elon Musk has fired a warning back at Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman after his apparent role in a spamming attack was exposed.
Musk is under attack over his mission to bring free speech back to social media by ending censorship on Twitter.
With free speech unleashed, the establishment wonโt be able to control the narrative, he argues.
Earlier today, Vindman appeared to inadvertently reveal that heโs linked to a campaign to spam Twitter with anti-Musk posts.
Vindman said on Twitter: โKinda weird that @elonmusk gets to decide how like a half-billion people communicate.
โWay too much power for one erratic individual to wield, donโt you think?โ

However, Twitter users were quick to point out that the exact same comment from Vindman has also been posted by dozens of other spamming accounts.
Several other accounts posted the exact same message as Vindman in what seems to be an effort to attack Musk.
Theyโre bots in human form

Musk laughed off the matter but warned Vindman and the rest of the spamming accounts that they are violating Twitterโs terms of service.
โTheyโre bots in human form,โ Musk said of Vindman and his allies.
โNote, spamming, whether done by a set of humans or bots is against ToS.โ

A Twitter user said:
โAnd theyโre all echoing Alexander Vindman.โ
Musk said:
โLike digital ventriloquist dolls.โ
Another Twitter user said:
โHating on elon musk full time seems like a really pathetic hobby.โ
Musk responded with the sad truth behind the attacks:
โThey wonโt give up controlling the narrative easily.โ
