Actor Chris Pratt said he felt “broken” and was “struggling” before he became a Christian.
While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Pratt described how his life has since changed, including meeting his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, at church.

“My own journey, finding a higher power and leaning on that and being like, ‘Please save me,’ and then feeling saved,” Pratt said, “and then shortly later finding the woman of my dreams.”
“There’s a perfect plan out there,” he added. “You just got to have faith.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy star explained how Schwarzenegger, the daughter of actor and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, first caught his attention.
“You kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Whoa, who is that?’ at church, you know what I mean?” the actor said. “But I was kind of sneaking some glances, and I was like, ‘Who is that? Anyway, what am I doing? Come on, I’m broken. Help me.'”
“God has a fast-forward button,” Pratt added. “When it’s right, boom. You fall in love. You get married. Now, we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family.”
