The left always needs someone to target with their attacks; as if it’s a requirement for their existence. When Tucker Carlson departed Fox News, they were left scrambling to find a new villain to focus their fury on, and it seems they’ve found their next target: Jesse Watters. That’s right, the emboldened left are now targeting Jesse Watters as their new favorite punching bag. They’re scouring the internet for anything he’s ever said, just so they can be angry and virtue signal to their loyal mob of social justice radicals.

On a recent episode of The Five, Jesse shared a story of spotting a family of illegals in New York City rummaging through a dumpster looking for recyclables. When asked how he knew they were illegals, Jesse simply replied, “You can just tell.” Now, the left is up in arms over Jesse’s seemingly innocent comment, as if they’ve never used common sense or had a “hunch” about something or someone.

Jesse’s ability to spot illegals makes the left absolutely livid. According to the emboldened left, Jesse is “racist” simply because he notices the obvious.

It looks like everyone got the exact same “faux outrage” memo.

Billy Baldwin, the brother of Alec Baldwin, who just got a slap on the wrist for his deadly antics, fancies himself a “white nationalist” whisperer. It’s truly amazing how these Hollywood elites can see right through us commoners and identify our innermost thoughts and beliefs.

The outrage brigade is now bestowing Jesse with imaginary “racism awards” for his supposed offenses.

According to a Twitter user whose life’s mission is to “decode” Fox News, living in New Jersey and having thick eyebrows and hair apparently disqualifies you from understanding “New York City life.” Now that’s some profound decoding right there.

The timing of the lefts attacks on Jesse Watters is not a coincidence. Reports and rumors are swirling that Jesse will be the one who replaces Tucker Carlson in the 8:00 pm slot.

Watters is the odds-on favorite to replace Carlson at 8 p.m.

Watters, a star who has risen through the network’s ranks over the past several years, hosts a show in the hour preceding Carlson and is a leading panelist of the network’s top-rated debate show “The Five.”

A sharp-tongued conservative who, like Carlson, has proven willing to attack Republicans and Democrats, Watters would be a consistent successor to the former Fox star, providing an audience with tested populist takes and quirky nonpolitical segments.

This just goes to show that Fox News won absolutely zero brownie points from the left by throwing Tucker Carlson to the wolves. All they did is make the mob that much more rabid and bloodthirsty. It also makes their stunt to feed dirt on Tucker to left-wing news outlets appear to be even more small-souled and pathetic.

Fox News may be making a shrewd move by considering Jesse as a replacement for Tucker, especially given his popularity with the MAGA crowd. It could help them win back some of the Trump-supporting viewers they lost when Tucker was pulled off the air. But the big question is, will it work? Will these viewers remain loyal to Jesse and tune in at 8 pm, or has Fox News lost them for good, regardless of who’s in that coveted anchor seat?

Only time will tell if Fox can escape this Tucker debacle unscathed. In the meantime, the emboldened left will be in the corner sharpening their knives.
