Many Americans are wondering why we’re still having a debate about how many genders there are. Anybody with common sense knows there are two, and if you think they are more, you might need one of these:

Part of the confusion is purposeful. First off, it should be noted that gender studies and biological science are not the same. Gender studies approaches the topic of gender from a social, cultural, and psychological point of view, while biological science examines the biological factors that contribute to our planets two genders.

However, keep in mind that gender study groups stay relevant and earn money and grants by over-complicating everything, inventing more genders, and creating all sorts of unnecessary, confusing layers that need to be ironed out.

So, when Chuck Todd tried to tell Vivek that a lot of “scientific” research says gender is a “spectrum,” he was actually referring to cultural research from gender study groups, not biology. They’re not the same, it’s like mixing oil and water—totally different.

And that’s why it was so incredibly easy for Vivek to school Chuck Todd on what it means to be a boy or a girl.

It’s as simple as X and Y.

In reality, there isn’t one example of actual, legitimate scientific research that proves gender is a spectrum and isn’t a binary.

Ramaswamy was much too polite and tolerant toward Todd when he told him he “respectfully disagree[d],” and explained that “Gender Dysphoria for most of our history all the way through the DSM-5 has been characterized as a mental health disorder.”

Vivek then launched into a powerful and righteous rant about how it’s cruel to indulge people with Gender Dysphoria and said they should be encouraged to get help.

Amen.

“Let’s be compassionate and get to the heart of that rather than playing this game as though we’re actually changing our medical understanding for the last hundred years,” Ramaswamy noted.

Todd interjected to advocate children getting their genitals mutilated or chemically castrated to prevent them from committing suicide. This is a common form of emotional blackmail that trans activists use to coerce their opponents into giving in.
