On Thursday, a video was released online showing Erwin Chemerinsky, the Dean of University of California, Berkeley Law, admitting that he’s been secretly favoring certain candidates in faculty hiring based on the color of their skin. The Dean was filmed on the sly admitting to everything. Ironically, he states in the video that if he were ever questioned under oath, he would deny ever saying any of this. Clearly, he had no idea one of his students was filming him.

Investigative reporter Christopher Rufo shared the video on Twitter and said this about Mr. Chemerinsky’s disturbing revelation:

EXCLUSIVE: Berkeley Law School dean Erwin Chemerinsky explains how he has secretly enacted a policy of racial discrimination in faculty hiring—which is illegal in California. “If I’m ever deposed, I’m going to deny I said this to you.”

This man must be sued, deposed, fired, and sent into retirement. He’s a virulent, proud racist—and an enemy of equality.

If you’ve recently applied to Berkeley Law as faculty and received a rejection, which you suspect might have involved discrimination, send me an email at [email protected]. I will connect you with public interest lawyers who might want to sue.

Mr. Chemerinsky might make a perfect first case for Trump loyalist Stephen Miller, who recently sent out 200 letters to schools across the country threatening to sue them if they refuse to comply with the Supreme Court ruling on “affirmative action.”

In California, it’s against the law to hire based on affirmative action in public employment, public education, or public contracting. After being busted by the viral video, Mr. Chemerinsky told Fox News Digital, “I am sad that someone took a video of my class discussion and excerpted it in this way. The Law School strictly complies with Proposition 209 in all of its hiring and admissions decisions.”

As the video continues to spread like wildfire, calls for Mr. Chemerinsky’s firing grow louder. This story is just heating up, and it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
