Tucker Carlson Tonight Roundup, 7/20/2020

First, Tucker Carlson covered the “bizarre, upside-down” scenario with the McCloskeys, who are facing time in prison for defending themselves against violent and angry lawless rioters and anarchists. This situation is absolutely sickening.

The Governor of Missouri has just released a statement completely slamming the prosecutor.

Kim Gardner’s action toward the McCloskeys is outrageous. Even worse, the Circuit Attorney’s office has admitted there is a backlog of cases and dozens of homicides that haven’t been prosecuted, yet she has accelerated this case forward.

We must prioritize laws that keep our citizens safe over political motivations. Kim Gardner owes every single family who has had a loved one murdered an explanation on why she has acted on the McCloskey case instead of theirs.

Her inaction is not fostering an environment of safety for the many communities and neighborhoods in St. Louis she serves. [Twitter]

Governor Mark Parson has previously indicated that he would pardon the McCloskeys if they were charged.

Speaking on “The Marc Cox Morning Show” on 97.1 FM in St. Louis, Parson was asked about an investigation circuit attorney Kim Gardner launched into Mark and Patricia McCloskey. The two were seen in widely shared footage from June pointing guns at a group of protesters who were walking down their street as part of a demonstration.

The McCloskeys claimed in a police report that they felt threatened by the demonstrators and feared that they would assault them or destroy their property. But Gardner said that she would look into the events, noting at the outset of her probe that “we will not tolerate the use of force against those exercising their First Amendment rights.”

Parson strongly pushed back against the impetus for the investigation, saying that the McCloskeys “did what they legally should do.”

“A mob does not have the right to charge your property. They had every right to protect themselves,” he said.

Asked whether he would consider a pardon if charges were filed, Parsons said, “I think that’s exactly what would happen.” [The Hill]

Carlson also had some remarks about Kanye West’s opening campaign event. Kanye actually had a lot of interesting things to say, and Carlson gives him a lot of credit. Kanye attacked the porn industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and the abortion industry. Kanye also criticized the high levels of black crime, and encouraged everybody to worship and bow down to God.

There can be no doubt that Kanye’s campaign is a total breath of fresh air compared to the stale and senile stench emanating from Joe Biden’s basement. The left had an absolute meltdown and accused Kanye of having a bipolar episode.

The same left that will make every excuse for a senile old kook named Joe Biden will relentlessly attack and mock a black man who is against abortion, against porn, and encourages blacks to avoid crime and drugs.

In the next segment, an absolutely kooky politician describes the rioters as “us” and tries to blame the violence on police provocateurs. This propaganda is designed to uplift the domestic terror outfit Antifa.

Antifa actually claimed responsibility for the violence, but the politicians are making excuses for them. This is because Antifa is actually the paramilitary arm of the Democratic party.

In the next segment, Tucker Carlson exposes the ugly and disgusting New York Times for threatening to publish his home address.

Journalists have long been in league with Antifa. But if these allegations are true, it appears they might be ready to drop the mask and adopt Antifa tactics outright.
