Update: According to Politifact, Pelosi’s office said she had purchased no property in Florida and the listing agent for it would only confirm that Pelosi was not the buyer.

When last we left you with Ron DeSantis, the popular Florida governor was trolling President Biden by holding an event in Brandon, Florida at Brandon Honda where he signed legislation that effectively banned Biden vaccine mandates in the state of Florida. During the event, DeSantis also gave a must-watch speech that included a lecture to a reporter on federal government overreach and how governors are within their rights to step in when they think the Feds are going too far.

Just a few days later, DeSantis was appearing at Florida convenience stores to announce a gas tax relief proposal that he hopes will help Floridians being crushed by the rising gas prices brought on by Bidenomics.

When DeSantis isn’t owning Biden all over the place, he’s also owning Democrats in other ways without even trying.

For instance, there was the confirmed report of notorious DeSantis hater Don Lemon of CNN infamy visiting the state earlier this month to bask in the Florida sunshine poolside and in close proximity to others maskless despite his repeated dogging of DeSantis over lack of mask mandates.

There was also failed Virginia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe announcing two weeks ago that he was enjoying a visit to a posh new Michael Jordan golf resort on the Florida coast. This happened after McAuliffe spent months bashing then-Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin for having a DeSantis-like approach to COVID mandates, and saying Virginia would turn into another Florida if Youngkin was elected (something that may have appealed to Virginia voters, judging by the results).

As further evidence that DeSantis continues to own his critics, we’ve learned this week that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) apparently has her eyes (and money) on a swanky seaside Florida mansion:

“Pelosi is apparently not afraid of oceans rising due to climate change,” Hoffman noted in a later tweet. Nor does it seem she’s afraid of DeSantis’ freedom-based approach to vaccine and mask mandates.

Relatedly, New Jersey’s Democrat Gov. Phil “Mandates” Murphy is heading to Florida for the Thanksgiving holiday, per NJ.com:

I know it’s way too much to hope for even in a month that has already been pretty based for conservatives, but maybe while in Florida enjoying the holiday festivities, Murphy might learn a thing or two about how to effectively govern a state through a pandemic without locking everything down?

As I’ve said before, despite their protestations to the contrary, not even DeSantis’ staunchest detractors can stop themselves from partaking in the many opportunities offered in the Sunshine state to relax and unwind, which just goes to further demonstrate that when it comes right down to it, Gov. Ron DeSantis just can’t stop winning.
