Zaslav the Destroyer Wants to Write Off $2 Billion in Content

October 26, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

The destruction of “Batgirl” was just the start as reports are starting to emerge that Warner Bros CEO David Zaslav aka Zaslav the Destroyer wants to write off between $2 billion — $2.5 billion worth of content in the upcoming quarter.

The folks over at Warner are calling these actions “pre-tax restructuring charges.” You see, they are $3 billion in debt, and their stock is plummeting — what better way to cut losses than to forever shelf completed TV shows and movies.

They want to lock these projects up, never to be seen again for tax exemption purposes. It’s an interesting strategy, make movies and never show them again.

The write-offs also led to the removal of films such as “An American Pickle” and “Charm City Kings” from HBO Max, among other titles. Now you see why Clint Eastwood is struggling to get his latest project running. Why would they greenlight a 92-year-old director’s latest project? Loyalty? Pfft, Zaslav the Destroyer spits on your “loyalty.”

Grace Randolph, a popular YouTuber, big film pundit with roughly a million subscribers, broke the rumour a few months ago that Zasoav’s master plan was to sell WB/ Discovery to Universal by purposely lowering the stock price as much as possible.

Upcoming Warner Bros films include “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” “Creed III,” “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” “The Flash,” “Dune: Part Two” and “Barbie.”
