Media and government credibility couldn’t be any lower than it is right now. Well, actually, it could be lower, but at this point, the “gutter” would be a step up for these bums.

As you likely know by now, the Biden Regime was hit with a bombshell set of leaks, which revealed that everything we’ve been told about the Ukraine war by the government and the media has been a lie.

Simon Ateba:

Later on Friday, an additional batch appearing to detail U.S. national security secrets pertaining to areas including Ukraine, the Middle East and China surfaced on social media, the New York Times reported.

Reuters was not able to verify the authenticity of the documents.

The U.S. Justice Department said late on Friday it was in touch with the Defense Department and began a probe into the leak. It declined further comment.

A leak of such sensitive documents is highly unusual.

“We are aware of the reports of social media posts and the Department (of Defense) is reviewing the matter,” Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh said.

A CIA spokesperson said the agency was also aware of the posts and was looking into the claims.

One document posted on social media said 16,000 to 17,500 Russian forces had been killed since Russia’s Feb. 24, 2022, invasion of Ukraine.

And the incestuous relationship between the regime and the media grows deeper:

General Mark Milley stated publicly in November that Russia had lost well over 100,000 soldiers. And these documents aren’t even old. According to New York Times reporter David Sanger, the documents were mere weeks old at the time of the leak.

Furthermore, just two weeks ago Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made the assertion that Ukraine was winning the war while he was testifying before Congress. That is not true. Ukraine is not winning the war and Austin knew that when he made a claim to the contrary. Lying before Congress is a crime.

And now the administration is asking the media to cover all of this up.

In a recent press conference, John Kirby asked reporters to refrain from reporting on the leak saying, “it has no business, if you don’t mind me saying, on the front pages of newspapers or on television. It is not intended for public consumption, and it should not be out there.”

It is the government’s job to keep classified documents out of the public eye and it is the job of the press to report information to the public. But the Biden Administration failed — as a result of their own corruption — to keep these documents secret, so they want the press to do it for them. And the press is doing just that.

And speaking of that very twisted relationship, Reuters dutifully participated (knowingly or not) in yet another “anonymous U.S. official” propaganda piece, featuring the return of the big, bad Russian boogieman. The problem with this story printed last week is that it’s 100 percent untrue.

Since the publishing of this fictitious piece of propaganda, officials have arrested a 21-year-old US National Guardsmen and “gamer” for supposedly releasing the classified documents online.

This is the article published by Reuters last week, which claimed that the an anonymous US official revealed that Russia was behind the big “leak”:

Russia or pro-Russian elements are likely behind the leak of several classified U.S. military documents posted on social media that offer a partial, month-old snapshot of the war in Ukraine, three U.S. officials told Reuters on Friday, while the Justice Department said separately it was probing the leak.

The documents appear to have been altered to lower the number of casualties suffered by Russian forces, the U.S. officials said, adding their assessments were informal and separate from the investigation into the leak itself.

The US legacy media supplies an endless stream of fake news and propaganda on behalf of the Regime:

The U.S. officials spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the matter and declined to discuss the documents in any detail.

The Kremlin and Russia’s embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

An initial batch of documents circulated on sites including Twitter and Telegram, dated March 1 and bearing markings showing them classified as “Secret” and “Top Secret.”

The bigger question now is, which CIA agent fed this fake gobbledygook to the Reuters reporter?

Don’t hold your breath, we’ll never know the answer to that question, but it doesn’t really matter at this point, because nobody trusts the mainstream media or government to tell the truth about anything.
