We’re sorry to say that those hack reporters from Rolling Stone are up to their old tricks again. They’re taking tiny shreds of truth and spinning them into wild tales to push their political and social agenda. It’s weaponized journalism at its best, and Rolling Stone seems to be the masters of the game.

Rolling Stone’s reporter, Noah Shachtman, is acting like he’s made the discovery of a lifetime, as if he just uncovered Jimmy Hoffa’s long-lost body, with his so-called “exclusive” story about a convicted sex offender collaborating with TPSUA. The truth is that this individual’s story has been circulating for ages. It’s common knowledge. Yet, Noah is making a big fuss, acting like he’s revealed the biggest bombshell of the century.

Here’s what Noah said in his tweet: “Charlie Kirk keeps railing against ‘groomers.’ But one of the corporate sponsors of his TPUSA ‘pastors summit’ is led by a registered sex offender.”

This is an excerpt from Noah’s “bombshell” article.

Rolling Stone:

Rolling Stone has learned that one of the TPUSA summit’s corporate sponsors is a Christian fashion company that is led by a registered sex offender, Shawn Bergstrand, who served time in federal prison for attempted “coercion and enticement” after trying to persuade “a minor female” to “engage in sexual activity.”

Apparently, nobody told Noah about redemption. Shawn Bergstrand doesn’t hide what happened, as a matter of fact Mr. Bergstrand uses his past as part of his life’s testimony to inspire others. The incident happened over a decade ago, and Mr. Bergstrand has led a deeply Christian lifestyle since that time.

Perhaps that should have been the feel-good story of hope that Rolling Stone published. However, in perfect Rolling Stone fashion, they got many parts of the story completely wrong.

TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk was quick to respond to the attempted smear job and set the record straight:

What a joke.

Let’s set the record straight.

First, I’ve never met this person. He was one of many exhibitors at our event. He’s not a “corporate sponsor” but rather a small business trying to market his company.

I’m told from the team that coordinates exhibitors that he’s a nice person who did something wrong over a decade ago, and unlike Target, he repented and the experience led him to his faith. Good for him. That’s the Gospel.

Lastly, he doesn’t hide what happened. He tells his story on his own website, and the jerks at Rollingstone took that public testimony and called it “exclusive,” just to unfairly smear him and play gotcha with me and TPUSA Faith.

Rollingstone should be ashamed. Trash outlet that publishes trash hit pieces about an event they didn’t witness and know nothing about.

Rolling Stone’s attempt to run defense for disgraced Target and other corporations seeking to indoctrinate children into the LGBTQ lifestyle has failed.

There are numerous individuals who are de-transitioning, or recovering addicts. We don’t hurl insults at them or cast them aside simply because they have made mistakes in the past. Instead, we extend a helping hand to them, recognizing that anyone who is striving to improve deserves a chance at redemption.
