This story is from 2017, but it’s been making rounds again, going viral as globalists worldwide continue to drive their totalitarian green initiatives that are crushing middle class with soaring energy costs. A lot of folks might not be aware of how long this eco-tyranny push has been underway and how President Trump’s victory temporarily disrupted their plans. Canada, being a hotspot for green activism, is slowly seeing its middle class dissolve. Just to give you an idea of how bad it really is in Canada, this is an article from 2016, describing Trudeau’s “green agenda” as a “Soviet style” assault on the population.

It’s hard to think of a greater public policy failure in recent Canadian political history than the rise of energy poverty.

Ontario premiers Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne, via their 2009 Green Energy Act and other poor decisions, have pushed many of the people they govern into dire financial straits thanks to their activist agendas.

“They live as if it’s Cold War Russia,” Miranda from Toronto told me during a phone conversation about her parent’s energy woes. “They use a pellet stove and propane heating. They put construction-style plastic on the windows and extra insulation.”

“They’re considering using food banks this winter,” she said. “I work in international development in third world countries and I’m starting to see the stuff here that I’m seeing there.”

In the wake of the COVID “pandemic,” globalists found the ideal springboard for their “Great Reset,” escalating eco-communism significantly since 2017. This was when a sobbing woman implored Trudeau to reconsider his harsh green policies, that were literally bankrupting her.

An Ontario mother struggling to pay her hydro bill took Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to task in an impassioned plea that captured the plight of many Ontarians overwhelmed by high electricity rates.

In a question-and-answer session in Peterborough, Ont., Kathy Katula said she works 15-hour days and is a single mother to four and grandmother to three in rural Buckhorn, Ont. Trudeau is in the midst of a cross-country tour.

“Something’s wrong now, Mr. Trudeau. My heat and hydro now cost me more than my mortgage,” she said. “I now not only work 75 hours a week, I stay and work 15 hours a day just so I don’t lose my home.”

“I make almost $50,000 a year, Mr. Trudeau, and I’m living in energy poverty. Please tell me how you are going to fix that.”

Watching this unfold is truly heart-wrenching. What makes it even sadder is Justin’s apparent indifference to this woman’s nightmare. What does he care? It’s just another step in the global implementation of the climate cult.

Twitter’s community notes added a “red flag” to the viral tweet, stating that this Global News clip is from January 13, 2017 and pertains to energy prices set by The Ontario Energy Board — Ontario’s independent energy regulator. As if this somehow absolves Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister, of his relentless pursuit of a green agenda that is gleefully being adopted and implemented by political minions all over the world.

For instance, the Communist Republic of New York is now going after pizza ovens.
