Fox News likely believed they had everything under control when they decided to let go of Tucker Carlson. Rumor has it that they struck a hush-hush agreement with Dominion to terminate Tucker’s employment, yet they kept him bound by contract, ensuring he couldn’t go anywhere else. It was the perfect setup for the regime — no more Tucker revealing the truth about what was really going on. But Fox News made one very big miscalculation, and it’s likely going to come back to bite them hard.

As you’ll recall, during the first week of May, Tucker reappeared after being fired from Fox to announce that his how would be relaunching on Twitter.

CNBC:

Tucker Carlson is back – on Twitter.

The right wing TV personality said in a video on his Twitter feed Tuesday that he is relaunching his show on the social media platform, which is owned by Elon Musk. Carlson was abruptly fired from his prime time post at Fox News weeks ago, shortly after the network paid a settlement to Dominion Voting Systems in its defamation lawsuit.

In a three minute video, Carlson – who has worked for CNN, MSNBC and Fox News – berated the mainstream media for allegedly lying to the public. He told viewers: “You are being manipulated.” Carlson also said Twitter isn’t partisan.

“Amazingly, as of tonight, there aren’t many platforms left that allow free speech. The last big one remaining in the world, the only one, is Twitter, where we are now,” Carlson said in Tuesday’s video. “Twitter has long served as the place where our national conversation incubates and develops. Twitter is not a partisan site, everybody’s allowed here, and we think that’s a good thing.”

According to Tucker’s lawyers,  Fox News actually breached their contract with him first, which could technically justify him moving on.

Even before Tucker made his big Twitter announcement about his new show, his lawyers had already fired off a letter to Fox. Tucker’s got a contract with Fox that’s locked in until January 2025, and Fox is keen on shelling out the dough to make sure he doesn’t jump ship to a rival network. But here’s where things get very interesting…

It appears that Fox News may have totally forgot to include one tiny detail in the contract…

Twitter.

Apparently, the folks at Fox News never thought Twitter would be a rival, so they didn’t bother adding it as a platform Tucker couldn’t use once he left Fox. Oops.

Tucker’s biographer Chadwick Moore appeared on OANN, where he detailed what could be a major Fox News blunder.

Fox News couldn’t have imagined that Twitter would emerge as a real media contender, but it seems Elon Musk has surprising plans in store. He reportedly plans to establish a new platform similar to YouTube, that will give Tucker a perfect launching pad for his new show.

Meanwhile, Fox News is still struggling to regain their footing after firing Tucker. Their ratings still haven’t recovered.

If this new project is successful, the American media scene will undergo a much-needed transformation.
